It’s Cancer
MickC @ August 27, 2008 # No Comment Yet
A few years ago, my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Now, cancer is rearing its ugly head again. This time, it’s Carol, my wife.
She had a two spots on her breast biopsied yesterday. We just got the call to say that both spots were cancerous.
The news isn’t all bad. The spots were [...]

Engulfs Habeas like spring
Floats away from us.
(See OpinionJournal for an explanation of the “bye-ku.” Of course, don’t forget that Habeas started out with putting a haiku into the headers of email.)
Update: Maybe we’ll get a mini round-up of Habeas haiku.

Infoworld Wants My Data
It seems a bit strange to me, but upon visiting Infoworld’s website I’m confronted by this browser security popup telling me Infoworld would like to be able to “read private data from any site or window”.

How do you solve a problem like Maria?
MickC @ April 8, 2008 # No Comment Yet

In The Sound of Music, the nuns at Nomberg Abbey are exasperated with Maria for being too frivolous, flighty and frolicsome for the staid, austere, ordered life of the Abbey. The theme of the song invites a question with [...]

It’s hard to write a blog when you don’t do so professionally. And, sometimes, when it is (see, for instance, my wife’s blogs).
It’s not that I don’t have anything to write about, but it’s that I’m having a hard time finding the time to do so. And the general lack of comments I [...]

Quick Post: MLK, Jr. Day
MickC @ January 21, 2008 # No Comment Yet
Several of my readers don’t agree with my political ideas, so they also won’t agree with the sentiments expressed by the three men who work on the Powerline Blog.
