If Democrats aren’t anti-Christian…

Delta Mike Charlie says : If Democrats aren’t anti-Christian, then I’m not sure who is…
This deserves a link just to show that the party of universal love is more like the party of the anti-Christ.
Now, I don’t mean that in the sense given by the Left Behind books. I mean that in the sense that they are “against Christ” (that being the literal definition of anti-Christ). It’s pretty obvious from the fact they were selling something intended to take an ad hominem swipe at believers. (And, well, one such swipe deserves another.)
Now, I certainly do know practicing Christians who incidently are members of the Democrat Party, just as I know practicing Christians who are incidently members of the Republican Party, and even a few practicing Christians who are members of the Libertarian Party. No political party has a lock on religious correctness.
What gets me, though, is the fantastic amount of vitriol exhibited by the leadership of the Democrat Party when the topic of Christianity comes up — and it’s usually guised as promoting tolerance. But, would you think that anyone would dare to create a picture of the Buddha sitting the pits of hell with a scream upon his face, and place that on the website of a political party? Of course not.
That someone thought it would be ok to do so with a symbol associated with Christianity really speaks to the low regard that Christianity is held in.
And that’s sad.

To me politicians are ridiculous. They say they are going to do one thing, then they do something that contradicts that action. It doesn’t matter whether you are a Republican or Democrat politician, politicians are dumb.
