Resurrection
Last year I started the Institute for Reproductive Geology. The purpose of the site was to capture people being really so stupid that attempts to educate them was like, well, teaching rocks to reproduce.
Well, one thing led to another and then another and then another and then… well, you get the point. Things kept getting put off and then never got done. The site has been dead since July of last year.
I’d like to change that now.
The purpose here is to honor the stupid things that people do and the stubbornness that goes along with their refusal to do the right thing after their stupidity is discovered.
Enter the first rock of the new age: Orange County, Florida, Sheriff Kevin Beary. Sheriff Beary instructed his staff to use a protected driver information database to obtain the address of a critic so that he could write her a letter taking umbrage at her characterization of him in a letter to the editor as “fat” and the need of law enforcement to use tasers in order to obtain urine samples.
Next up? You’ll have to wait and see.
