I support Sen. Miller's bill to repeal the 17th Amendment. I have wondered ever since I was a teenager studying government and history why this country passed the 17th Amendment. We need the Senate to be free of special interests and the necessity to stump for re-election. The way our founding fathers established Congress was the best way and our country would be well served by returning to it.
