About Mickey
Mickey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Angelo State University, a certificate of completion from the Legal Assistant Program of the University of Texas at Austin, and a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems from Tarleton State University, Central Texas (soon to be Texas A&M Central Texas).
He got into technical work from his annoyance of junk email. Instead of just deleting it, he learned how to find out where the spam really came from and co-founded the Forum for Responsible and Ethical Email. His voluntary spam-fighting led to a job fighting all kinds of Internet abuse, and he can help you with spam, denial of service attacks, proving that you didn’t send a virus to someone, and other technical issues.
Mickey is the Director of ISP Relations for Informz. He is also a Policy Fellow with the Institute for Spam & Internet Public Policy. He also does digital photography, does website design, as well as network design and administration in Windows or Unix environments.
Finally, but most importantly, he is a father of three.
